PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP FOR THE PEOPLE (P4) SELECTION COMMITTEE MEMBERS TAKE OATH: COMMITMENT TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE CITY

Members of the Public-Private Partnership for the People (P4) Selection Committee in the city of Cagayan de Oro have officially taken their oath of office. This significant event, which occurred on June 1, signifies their commitment to fulfilling their roles and responsibilities as outlined in City Ordinance No. 13457-2018, commonly referred to as the 'City of Cagayan de Oro P4 Code'.

Under the leadership of Mayor Rolando 'Klarex' Uy, the committee is tasked with overseeing the implementation of public-private partnerships that aim to benefit the people of Cagayan de Oro. The selection committee plays a vital role in evaluating and selecting appropriate projects and partnerships that will contribute to the city's growth and development.

Chairing the P4 Selection Committee is Atty. Joefrrey D. Namalata, who brings his expertise as the head of the City General Services Office. Assisting him is City Legal Officer Atty. Kenneth O. Tamala, who serves as the secretary of the committee. Together, they will ensure that the committee operates efficiently and adheres to the established guidelines and regulations.

Joining them are esteemed members representing various sectors of the city. City Councilor Edgar Cabanlas, as the official representative of the 20th City Council, brings valuable insights and perspectives to the committee's deliberations. City Treasurer Jasmin T. Maagad will contribute her financial expertise, while Ramir Balquin, the Officer-in-Charge of the City Planning & Development Department, will provide insights into the city's urban development.

Additionally, John W. Asuncion, the head of the Oro Trade and Investment Promotions Center, will lend his expertise in trade and investment matters. Janet C. Floirendo, representing the Federation of Barangay Women Development Committee Cagayan de Oro Inc., will bring a community-oriented perspective to the committee's discussions. Lastly, Franklin T. Dagcuta, representing the CdeO-Cogon United Market Vendors Association (CDEO-CUMVA), will represent the interests of local market vendors.

The oath-taking ceremony solidifies the commitment of the P4 Selection Committee members and their dedication to serving the people of Cagayan de Oro. Their collective expertise and diverse backgrounds will contribute to the committee's ability to make informed decisions that promote sustainable development and improve the quality of life for the city's residents.
