The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) has once again recognized Cagayan de Oro City as one of the country’s most outstanding local governments by naming the city as one of the top five (5) finalists in their 2025 Search for Most Business-Friendly LGUs under City Level 1B (Provincial Highly Urbanized Cities).
Cagayan de Oro has consistently been named among the top 5 in its category in this annual recognition of the city government's commitment to fast-tracking local economic development, streamlining ease of doing business, promoting investments, enhancing sectoral competitiveness, and aligning industries with local strengths and resources.
Mayor Rolando “Klarex” Uy welcomed the news, saying: “This recognition belongs to our people—our MSMEs, our investors, our community. We strive to make Cagayan de Oro not only a hub for business, but also place where people can 'Work. Play. Live. Here.'”
